Davis Co. Fair: Day 1

Just when I thought my fair goin' days were over for the summer... BAM! Davis County Fair starts this week. Met a bunch of new friends in the animal areas, but learned the hard way that the petty zoo is a claws-free zone. (Who knew chickens were so jumpy?)

I am not part of the petting zoo people (but yes, I will pose for photos).

Can somebody tell me what kind of chickens these are, they look like ninja chickens to me.

Best part about arriving early: no lines for the rides.

I don't know what this thing is but it was fun to play on.
