Bitter sweet ending

Day 4
Weber County Fair
I made a lot of new friends today! I hope they had as much fun as I did on the last day of the fair. I can't wait for next years fair.

Highlights from day 4:
• Meeting a bunch of the competitors.
• Getting my picture with the ladies.
• Bartering for lemonade.
• Ending the day with amazing ice cream.

Our lovely duet for the day.

Shout out to our friends at the chicken booth! Thanks for the turkey leg, it was delish!
This sheep is very photogenic
More pictures of these two here.
Another real cowboy.
She can really pull of that tie.
Winner winner...chicken dinner?

Thanks for letting me ride your cow guys!
These rodeo queens won my heart.
Our last day of rockin out.
Another perfect ending.

All I need is chaps

Day two
Weber County Fair
I made friends with a lot more meat....I mean..animals today. I rode a horse, met a real cowboy, ruffled feathers with the chickens, sang Eye Of The Tiger more than I should have, and craved a turkey leg.

Tomorrow is the last day of the fair that means one last day to rock our hearts out!
Come on y'all! I want to see your rocker faces at our booth.
Made a lady friend while watching the mini horses.

Makes me crave a turkey leg.....

They deserved the bandana's they played for.

Our next Taylor Swift.

Sand Castle day 2

I'm on a horse.

I need chaps to match my hat.

Mini horse competition.
He may be a real cowboy, but I'm a real wildcat.

5 bucks says she's lip syncing.

Gone Country

Day One
Weber County Fair
Not too crowded yet, lots of great things to see and eat. Made friends with some of the livestock owners. I promised to not break my claws out and they let me take a picture with their animals. That cow was massive but I'm pretty sure I could bring it down. Too bad I'm vegan this week.

Also, we've been playing battle of the bands with organ vendor. So far we have yet to top their rendition of "Poker Face."

mmmmm....that feel's ssssooooooooooo good.

Ticket takers will stamp your hand (even with your claws out).

My new friend at Lady Fitness.

If only they had duck in a can.

I stayed on for seven seconds.

She promised me a lamb chop when they were done.

Which is the real cow: options 1...

...or option 2?

Roy Days

This last weekend consisted of hardcore rockin out with the people of Roy, Utah. We laughed, we cried, and we rocked.

Highlights from the event:
• Found out Roy isn't just farmland in the boonies.
• Creepy guy with a mustache couldn't stop singing Miley Cyrus.
• Pretty much anyone cool was wearing a WSU bandana.
• Rocked out with my new friends from Roy.

Rock You Like a Hurricane

Our last New Student Orientation of the season was a blast. People couldn't seem to get enough of the country and power ballads. Should be a pretty interesting crop of incoming freshman this year. Can't wait for the block party.

Highlights include:

  • Teichert's rock face

  • Rachel's situational nearsightedness

  • Bandanas for newbs program

  • Poison tribute band

  • Pushup smackdown
